Vitacost Order

Here's my latest Vitacost order (referral link). We LOVE their coconut oil and use it daily. It's great for deep frying since it remains stable at high temps. It makes the best homemade potato chips! Well, turns out this coconut oil falls into both those categories, since it's actually sold as a supplement, not a food. The Brazil nuts also fall into the sports/diet products category. I believe they only allow one discount code per order, however. Brazil nuts are a great source of Selenium, which is a common nutrient deficiency, and 1-2 Brazil nuts per day are supposed to help us meet our daily requirements. These are also raw, which is a great choice over roasted. They are a little expensive, regularly $7.99 for a 12 oz bag, but one bag will last us about a month, and I believe it's best to get our nutrients from food whenever possible. I think nature has it right, with a balance and pairing of nutrients right for our bodies, and I believe there are many components of nature's foods that we have not yet discovered or may never even figure out.
